Visit here first:

http://pocacoop.com/perplexed

For the folks who have purchased a POCA Clinic membership and do not yet see your clinic listed on the Locate a Clinic page, fear not!....all clinics will be listed by end of day today (11-16-11).

For Clinic owners who need to update their clinic listings, please log in to the site for the first time - as described here: http://pocacoop.com/perplexed - and then find your clinic listing on the Locate A Clinic listing.

From there, scroll down to the bottom of the clinic info page and look for the little red button asking if you’d like to edit your clinic info.  Now do your thing.

Just like on the old CAN site, owners/POCA Clinic members are ultimately responsible for keeping clinic information up to date and accurate. We are of course, happy to help especially so as the POCA site is new and unfamiliar to us all.

Also, the POCA Store is not *quite yet* open for business…soon, very soon…thanks for your patience everybody during this launch and transition.

Hey Andy—I think I found a bug.

I was trying to edit my clinic info.  I searched for it on the LOC and saw the red edit button on the bottom but when I click on the button it sends me back to the LOC home page.

Yesterday, or maybe Monday, I started a new thread under State of the Acupuncture Profession entitled AAAOM!  It doesn’t show up when I look at those forums.  If I do a search for it I can get to it, but it doesn’t show any replies, though there were 4 or 5 up on the CAN site.  My “project” is in development now, so I’d like to figure out how to get all that visible again.  Thanks.

New site looks good—if only I didn’t hate change so much.  You guys are amazing!

Elaine:

I don’t know why your thread isn’t appearing inside of the State of the Profession forum. You’ve likely found a bug we’ll have to work on over the next several days.  You may want to start a new thread, as the creation time of this thread was right around the final migration from CAN site to POCA site and so perhaps was somehow corrupted in the process.

Macey: This one will be looked at over the next few days as well.  Hang tight and thanks for your patience.

It would be nice if the blog page linked directly to recent blogs so you dont have to navigate 2 separate pages.

so it might look like this:

Prick, Prod, Provoke
(description)
  most recent blog
  next blog
  more…
James Restons Appendix

  next blog
  more…

are the blogs meant to be viewable by only POCA members?  or public like they have been in the past…

I seem to not be able to view member profiles (even the public version of my own) or the member list.  Also I’m curious as to how the designations “newbie” “sr. member” “jr. member” etc are arrived at.  Seems like some kind of calculus that doesn’t involve just membership time, since I’m designated a newbie and people who joined around the time I did or much, much later are “sr”...

I see Elaine’s AAAOM thread on the forum under the State of the Profession,  all the way at the bottom of the page.

@ Macey = The ‘Old CAN Blog’ a.k.a. Prick Prod & Provoke is available to Punks and punk-student members. James Reston’s Appendix is available for all to view and comment on.

@ Cris - thanks…looks like we have some (more) tweaking to do.

for people who have an old email associated with thei CAN account, is there someone in particular they should send their new email to so that they can get their “reset password” to log in?

Macey - contact POCA through the Contact US link up on the header.  We’ll help you get it sorted out.
