Opening in Chicago in Lincoln Park ... we’ve been working on this since November.  Took months to find the space, then over a month to renovate.

People’s Community Acupuncture

It’s been a great experience - so many people have been so helpful. And thanks to all the bloggers/forum posters for sharing their advice/experiences.

Borrowed that picture with permission, but can’t find the name at the moment. We’ll be adding our own pictures ASAP. grin

I love this from your website:

(By the way, if you work for an insurance company and checking our rates for comparison – go away. Our business model and rates won’t work with your greedy, scum-sucking employer. This means you can’t use us as a valid measure for how stingy your employer can be.)

Thanks, I like my attitude problem too. Have to tone that down because we want to treat chemotherapy patients - don’t want to alienate the doctors.

Thanks. I was actually wondering about hosting a meeting. Would love everyone’s feedback on our clinic.

The location is very easy to get to, right off Lake Shore Drive, convenient to major highways. And we are walking distance from Lincoln Park Zoo.

Congratulations!  Great area; I used to live right around the corner from you, on Clark north of Fullerton.  Not much parking but so densely populated.  You’ll do great there.

How big is your space?  How many chairs are you starting out with?

Thanks, Dean.

Space is 1200 sf.  Yeah the parking can be either really good, or really bad - we’re a half block from Lincoln Park.  Depending on the day/time there’s free street parking - or no parking at all.  Need to add a page to the website just to explain parking.

We have 4 recliners (so far), 5 zero gravity chairs, 2 lovesacs, and a table.  The lovesacs are intended for pregnant women so they don’t have to lie on their backs, but they’re super comfy for anyone.
