Community Acupuncture Project of Columbia City

Want to live in Seattle and run a CA clinic? I currently am running two locations alone, and need to focus on one clinic. Upon sale, the two clinics would be run independently. Would love to have a dedicated CA person take over this great neighborhood resource.

Currently open 6 days a week, treating patients 18 hours/week.
In operation since April, 2009
2000 patient charts
This year: 2240 treatments

What are you buying?

The Community Acupuncture Project of Columbia City has been in this historic neighborhood in Seattle’s most racially and ethnically diverse zip code, since 2009. The clinic is located half a block off Rainier Avenue, in the oldest building in the historic district. A very walkable neighborhood, with businesses surrounding the clinic, we are a few blocks from the Columbia City Light Rail stop. Columbia City has a thriving arts and music scene with festivals like Beat Walk and a wildly popular Farmers Market 7 months a year.
The clinic has always operated within the guidelines of the Community Acupuncture Network, now the People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture.
Clinic leadership is firmly planted in spreading the mission of community acupuncture in Seattle and we have active relationships with the other CA clinics in our state and nationally.
A responsive, nearby and excellent land lord who has raised the rent minimally, one time in 5 years. The building owners like the clinic and want this community neighborhood resource to remain in business.
Low utilities and rent for the city
A turn key ready clinic. Recently painted. All equipment (patient files, computer, phone, recliners, treatment table, office furniture, lamps, stereo) included
Established punks who are open/interested in staying on to encourage consistency for patients. Depending on needs of new owner, there are many options for working all shifts, no shifts, some shifts.
Current membership in the Columbia City Business Association, a lively and fantastic resource

For the past four and half years, in an ongoing fashion, there have been a wide variety of outreach, educational and marketing efforts to introduce the clinic and the concept of affordable, sliding-scale acupuncture, to the business, residential and nonprofit communities in the Rainier Valley. Special outreach has included the many medical offices in the neighborhoods surrounding Columbia City. These efforts have paved the way for new owners to hit the ground running.
