Why POCAfest?

There is simply NO better way to get CEUs that are relevant to your CA practice, at all stages of development.

Find out if CA is right for you while still a student and make your education count.

Be inspired by CA workers from all groups: receptors, punk employees, patients, owners.

Join us as a patient/community members so we can grow the movement in ways that matter to you.

Plus take-home information and opportunities for informal networking with comrades that will support you for months and years to come.

Been to  POCAfest already? PLEASE share ways it has helped your practice in small and large ways.

We've taken your feedback into consideration to make each Pfest even better. We need you all there to make it awesome!

Find Pfest forums inside with breakout descriptions and more.

Register on the front page now. We don't want you to decide later and find it sold out :(

Give yourself the gift of POCAfest, and you will be glad.

POCAfest is the best way to earn CEU’s EVER! Where you actually get to meet people and make new friends.

Every POCAfest I’ve met a ton of people I can call when I need help.

I love the people at POCAfest.

Every POCAfest I learn things that I can use everyday in my clinic i.e. Andy’s blood letter, distal point treatments, Whittsit’s class on fibromyalagia, Carmen’s class on Accounting proactices. I love POCAfest <3

    I can’t wait for POCAfest.

P.S. Who else can say they’ve jello wrestled for CEU’s ? wink

POCAfest is the best way to connect with other punks from all over.  Seriously fun times…

You will learn tons of useful information that you can put to work right away, whether about needling techniques, interpersonal skills, business skills, or how to wear a merkin.

You’ll probably get to see Skip cry.  That’s worth the price of admission right there.

You might even get a little misty yourself.  It’s pretty inspiring getting together with everyone.

When you get home after POCAfest, your patients will ask you what the hell you did over the weekend, on account of you’ll be glowing with enthusiasm.

For me the best thing about going to a POCAfest is meeting new friends and reconnecting with old ones. The friends you make at a POCAfest will become your trusted advisors - as Jade mentioned above, you’ll come home with a list of people you can call anytime you need help.

Also, POCAfest is an extremely cost-effective way to get CEUs. CEUs that are 100% relevant to your practice. Plus you get to hang out with a bunch of cool community punks. And the food is always great. And the entertainment is legendary.

What are you waiting for?? Go register for POCAfest 2013!!

We do so much of POCA’s circle work in a decentralized, virtual way.  One circle I’m in has punks in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, California, and Colorado-on-the-way-to-California.  Another has punks in Rhode Island and Portland.  Another has punks from all over.  At any given time I’m carrying on conversations in the forums with punks and patients from all over this and 4 other continents.

I’m going to POCAfest so I can hug them.

It’s been amazing to be at each POCAfest and hear from each clinic owner and employed punk how things are progressing at their clinics.  At one point so many of us were all alone, and now clinics that were once solo punks, have employees, or some of us have joined our comrades at other clinics.  POCA and POCAfest means strength in numbers.  The only group in the acu profession that has that.
